                      FRACTAL MUSIC - Version 2.52

                        Welcome to Fractal Music

                               >>>>> <<<<<

Many changes and improvements have been made to this program since
the original release (version 2.21). With the current version we
now provide a new edition of the manual which covers all those
changes, thus rendering this README file (which had previously
become very lengthy) more-or-less redundant. A fair proportion of
those changes concerned MIDI Files and the handling thereof by this
and other software products - you can read all this enthralling
stuff in Appendix D, "About MIDI Files", and especially in the
"Quirks and Oddities" section beginning on page 112.

Otherwise, there is only one comment we felt the need to preserve
from our old README file ...

... and finally, something we forgot to say in the manual:

                              HAPPY FRACTATING!
